The past few blog posts have been taken from Chapter 21, authored by Kathleen Patten, the President and CEO of American Target Advertising, in my book GO BIG: The Marketing “Secrets” of Richard A. Viguerie.


To wrap up some of Kathleen’s words:


Read, read, read. Read everything you can about how to grow your business exponentially. Read all of Dan Sullivan’s publications. Again, read Ben Hardy’s book with Sullivan, Who Not How. Listen to Sullivan’s many different podcasts. His company also has a book coming soon titled 10x Is Easier than 2x. And Ben Hardy’s newest book, Be Your Future Self Now, is about how to create a bigger future than you can imagine.


By the way, if you’re thinking that 10x growth will take even more of your limited time, Sullivan says it’s the opposite. A 10x growth plan will allow you to have more free time because of the changes you’ll make in your life.


Growing 1,000% doesn’t mean you have to grow the number of your employees, your donors, and sales, profits, etc., by 1,000%. You choose what you want to increase 1,000%.


Perhaps it might be increasing your effectiveness 1,000% by January 2024, which is what our company is focusing on. By doubling our employees and focusing on high-level/world-class marketers and adding 20–30 new clients who are led by high-energy entrepreneurs, we will be in a position to increase our impact on American public policy by 1,000%.


Also, by spending 1,000+ hours of Richard’s time and 1,000 hours of our team’s time in 2022 writing GO BIG, it’s possible that ATA’s impact will be far greater than 1,000% increase.


Think of the impact of thousands of new conservative organizations, each with 5–10 mostly young conservatives learning to be leaders, and each new organization getting thousands or tens of thousands of new donors.


All because of the ideas and encouragement from this new book by Richard Viguerie.


Many of the 5,000 conservative leaders that receive Richard’s monthly marketing memos share them with their team members, board members, and donors.


This book will probably be read by tens of thousands of conservatives. Some will use his advice to significantly grow their organization or start a new organization or win an elected office. Also, our 40+ conservative nonprofit clients will send tens of billions of letters, emails, digital ads, radio and TV ads, etc., in the next few years.


So, the impact of American Target Advertising’s monthly leadership memos and GO BIG—as well as our clients’ postal and digital communications, articles, books, etc.—in the next few years means we’ll have 1,000%+ more impact than just a few years ago.


And if our ATA team and I can and will do this, you also can have 1x growth soon, followed by 2x, then 4x, and soon you’re on your way to 10x=1,000% growth, and probably making a significant contribution to saving America and Western Civilization.
